 Heading Home - slowly

As I got my return flight tickets lined up there was a major storm across the US and Southwest Airlines especially was shutdown. I ended up stopping in Maui for a few days waiting for flights to get rescheduled.

I rented a car, couldn't find a room for less than $500 so I decided to be adventurous. The first night I slept under the trees on a beach on the side of the road. Finally, I found a car camp near Lahaina with toilets, showers, and a place to call home. All of these places have been an interesting experience.

My first full day here I drove up the northwest coast on Highway 30. It took most of the day for the round trip. The second full day I drove the Hana Highway on the north shore. All of these very scenic.
